A few words from colleagues and clients:

“A seriously intuitive musician. I’ve been fortunate to catch two of his Album Shows so far. I wondered both times how you would go about interpreting two very complex albums such as Abbey Road & Thriller.
Wonder no more! Rather than try to emulate or copy the original recordings, he simply played a solo performance from the heart, injecting humour, a little sadness but most of all a feeling of being joyously connected to the music.
Using just a bare minimum of effects, the end result was a unique take on each track, much like meeting an old friend once again.
I’m proud to know Ben and always look forward to hearing him play. His music and his constant search for new ideas and sounds is to be applauded.”

“ Ben McGarity played at my 30th and he was amazing (as always ).We are so lucky in Orange NSW to have some very talented musicians and Ben sure is at the top of the list . For my line of work (wedding photographer and florist ) I always recommend Ben.
Thank you Ben for helping make my night so special. You truly are one talented man !”

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Beno and watching him perform for the past 20 years, from his early days as a member of a local band to his current solo shows. Beno is a regular performer at The Oxley here in Cowra - performing once a month on a Friday night and also tackling some of the most complex assignments (Beatles Abbey Road and Michael Jackson’s Thriller) with incredible skill and enthusiasm during our Classic Album Sessions. Beno’s skills as a gutarist and incorporation of looping techniques always make for a unique and engaging show, with a massive repertoire and a rare ability to take on most audience requests. I have no hesitation in recommending Beno for any musical event and have the utmost confidence in his ability to sculpt a show to your requirements. This guy is the goods!!
